On May 10th, 2026, The Weeknd  unveiled the final Asia leg of his “After  Hours Til Dawn”  stadium tour.

The tour  will commence in Tokyo on September 20th and conclude in Kuala Lumpur on November 4th.

The Weeknd’s current After hours till dawn tour started on July 14, 2022, in Philadelphia.

The tour stands as one of the biggest global tours ever staged by a solo male artist.

It has sold more than 7.5 million tickets across 153 shows and surpassed $1 billion in revenue.

Abel Tesfaye, known as The Weeknd, was born in Scarborough, Toronto on February 16, 1990.

Tesfaye quit school when he was in Grade 11 and moved to America, starting to work at American Apparel, while also working on songs.

His songs mostly focused on his experience in unbridled partying.

He first met Jeremy Rose, a producer, at a party, where they started working together on three atmospheric songs.

In late 2010, The Weeknd uploaded their music on Youtube, which eventually gained popularity by being posted to Drake's blog.

With Drake by his side, he had more access to recording studios and producers.

By March 2011, he released his first mixtape, House of Balloons.

The album was shortly noticed, being shortlisted for Canada’s Polaris Music Prize.

After releasing a few more albums, The Weeknd partnered with Republic Records in 2012.

In 2016, a year marked by several major milestones, The Weeknd won Canada's Juno Award, Grammy Awards, and was nominated for an Academy Award for his soundtrack of the Fifty Shades of Gray.

His album Starboy, collaborated with Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, and Daft Punk, earned a Grammy for the best urban contemporary music.

In 2021, he performed at the Super Bowl halftime show.

Behind all his fame, The Weeknd also faced hardships.

Throughout the tour, he had been dealing with major challenges, with postponed dates due to the pandemic, needing to shoot his TV series during the tour.

The “After Hours Til Dawn” stadium tour features his most successful songs, such as Blinding  Lights and Starboy, with songs from his latest album like Timeless.

The tour is praised for its long setlist, 42 songs, high concept-stage design, and the energetic crowd.

There are multiple stages to reach fans far in the back, elaborate sets, and digital backdrops.

The tour has set remarkable records.

According to  a report by Billboard Boxscore in November, 2025, the tour grossed $635.5 million and sold 5.1 million tickets, making it the biggest R&B tour in history.

In addition to setting records in history, The Weeknd has also donated more than $8.5 million to his XO Humanitarian Fund as well as to Global citizens.

There are also additional set dates scheduled from 2026 continuing to support the World Food Program.

The tour becomes the ninth tour to hit the $600 million and above mark, the Weeknd being the only R&B and Black artist on a list, which includes Coldplay and Elton John.

From leaving school in Grade 11 to pursue his interest in music, The Weeknd has risen to become one of the highest-paid musicians, with 44 upcoming concerts as part of the final leg of his world tour.
